{"product_id":"masayoshi-fujita-book-of-life","title":"Masayoshi Fujita Book Of Life","description":"Following on from his acclaimed works Stories and Apologues, Berlinbased composer and vibraphonist Masayoshi Fujita will release his\r\nnew album Book of Life, the final instalment in this trilogy of solo\r\nvibraphone recordings, on July 27 via Erased Tapes.\r\n\r\nPreviously Masayoshi released two albums under his alias El Fog, that\r\ntouched on the vibraphone but appeared mostly in a supporting role,\r\naccompanying his intricate electronic production. Much like his\r\ninstrument, he has often been a collaborator as opposed to a front man\r\nhis sympathetic musicianship complimenting a variety of creative\r\noutputs. Most frequently with the adventurous German producer Jan\r\nJelinek. Their most recent offering Schaum displays a dialogue\r\nbetween the two that makes it hard to tell just where Fujitas\r\nvibraphone ends and Jelineks whirring loops begin. Another fruitful\r\npartnership was the experimental Needle Six piece, a BBC Radio 3\r\nrecording of an improvised session with UK electronic artist Guy\r\nAndrews for Late Junction. The mesmeric and compelling 30-minute\r\npiece was released for Record Store Day in 2016. In addition his label\r\npeer and fellow Berlin resident Nils Frahm mastered Stories, providing\r\na fitting symmetry to its re-issue on Erased Tapes now.\n\n1. Snowy Night Tale\r 2. Fog\r 3.
